Pragstein castle in Mauthausen, Austria

Schloss Pragstein dates back to 1491

The Pragstein castle is a prominent landmark on the banks of the Danube in Mauthausen, Austria. The street next to it was being repaved with granite blocks when I took this photograph in May 2003.
