Main gate into Dachau camp complex was formerly located here

After leaving the Memorial Site, walk west on Pater-Roth-Strasse which is a few yards north of the parking lot, and you will soon see this gate, which is at the former location of the main gate into the Dachau camp complex. The large gate house into the SS camp, that once stood here, was torn down.
