Low wall in front of museum with reconstructed barrack
in background
As you exit the movie theater in the Museum, you will see
a low wall with tall concrete fence-posts sticking up. Visitors
must go around this wall to see the front of the International
Monument on the other side, or to get to the two reconstructed
barrack buildings. The building in the background was built in
1965 at the site of the former camp canteen and library. The
other reconstructed barrack is located where the camp infirmary
once stood. The concrete posts are reproductions of posts for
the barbed-wire fence around the camp.
