Ashes of unknown victims are enclosed in marble box
at the "Never Again" wall
On the east side of the International Monument, in front
of the east wing of the administration building, is a short,
free-standing wall with the words "Never Again" in
five languages: Yiddish, French, English, German and Russian.
The Yiddish words are "keinmal mehr" written using
the Hebrew alphabet. Ashes of unknown victims of the camp are
enclosed inside the marble-topped box. After the camp was liberated,
800 bodies of the victims were cremated in the ovens at Dachau.
