According to the book "Deliverance Day"by Michael Selzer, at 10 p.m. on April 26, 1945 there were 1,759Jews put on a train bound for another concentration camp and 6,887others, half of whom were Jews and half of whom were Russians,were marched south toward the mountains, on the orders of HeinrichHimmler.
