International Monument with sculpture designed by
Nandor Glid
After visiting the reconstructed barrack building, visitors
walk across the wide expanse of gravel, which is the former roll-call
place, to the front of the service building where the main part
of the International Monument is located. The monument consists
of a wide ramp covered with marble tiles which slopes down to
a low wall that holds a sculpture designed by Nandor Glid. On
the right side of the path is a zig-zag cut in the retaining
wall around the field of gravel that is part of the monument.
A bas relief sculpture is on the retaining wall on the west side.
