Street sign on corner of Locke and Key in the town of Locke

Visitors to Locke, arriving from Sacramento or San Francisco to the north, enter the historic town on Locke Street. Key Street is one block east of Main Street. This is the residential section of Locke. Beyond Key Street, to the east, is a community garden where the residents grow vegetables. In the background of the photograph above, one can see an orchard which borders the town on the north.
