This wrought iron gate goes all the way acrossthe entrance to the underground room of the Jewish Memorial Temple, and is the only thing covering the opening to the small room, which is exposed to the elements. Note how this gate is reminiscentof the Jourhaus gate to the camp, except the iron bars are jumbledand chaotic and the "Arbeit Macht Frei" sign is absent.Inside, the floor is covered with the same tile that is used onthe ramp and the walls are granite blocks.
