Left Side Altar in Chruch
The photo above shows the transept on
the left side of the church. In the lower right hand corner of
the photo, you can see the communion rail that separates the
main altar from the part of the church where the wooden pews
were located. In the background, against the wall, there are
three wooden objects that I couldn't identify. Through the arch,
you can see the left side altar which is shown in the photo below.
In the photo above, the main altar is
on the right, and the side altar is on the left.
The photo above shows a closeup of the
side altar. The statue on the wall in the upper left hand corner
is that of Our Lady of Lourdes. The altar looks completely undamaged
and appears to be in pristine condition. On the right side of
the altar is the bottom part of a broken statue. The tabernacle
of this same altar is shown in the photo below. Note the silk
roses decorating the altar. In the center of the altar is a glass
vase that is broken.
